Tribute to our Son Eliel Guess

People always think life is always easy being in ministry, Loving Jesus is always easy but life sometimes gets hard, 1 year after Galilee's accident, we lost our youngest son Eliel in a motorcycle accident. The pain and grief of loosing a child is something I would not wish on anybody, the pain goes deep, and without Jesus being there to comfort us, I don't know how we would have made it through the following days. You raise your child to love Jesus, which thank God, Eliel did, thinking they will always be around until after you are gone, but sometimes that's just not the case.

Proverbs 3:5 says

Trust in the Lord with all thine heart, and lean not unto thine own understanding.

Isaiah 53:4 says

Surely He hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows, yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted.

Only through Jesus can we bare the loss of our child, knowing He is with the Lord is an amazing comfort, and the only way to cope with the loss of a child. I'm speaking to all parents today, love your child like never before, hold them and share Jesus with them, they need your love and Jesus's love to live today.

God knows the pain of loss, remember God gave His son Jesus for your salvation.

Eliel was never married and no children.

We still have 4 other children, 2 sons, and 2 daughters; all of which are married, 2 of which have given us 5 beautiful granddaughters. We love all of our children very much, and enjoy spending time with them when we can.
