How God brought us together!
Gary went to South Africa on a mission trip in March 2000, with Galilee's father, Evangelist John Hitchcock. While there he met Galilee on his first day. He had a lovely meal together with her family.
John and Gary left the next day for almost 3 weeks, upon arriving back to her house after church. It was Thursday evening, pouring down rain and around 11 pm, Galilee and Gary went for a walk in the rain. She asked him where her dad and he had been during their time in South Africa. She then asked Gary, if God had spoken to him while he was in South Africa. He said the Lord had spoken to him but he preferred not to say. Galilee boldly said, "well if you will not tell me, I will tell you what God told you because He told it to me too!" Galilee then proceeded to tell Gary that the Lord had spoken to her and said that was to be Gary's wife. Gary's teeth about fell out of his mouth because that was the same message the Lord had spoken to him during his trip to South Africa.

They walked until about 4 am, just telling each other about their lives growing up on two different sides of the world. The Lord then told Gary to propose to Galilee right then. He argued, saying "But Lord, I do not have an engagement ring!". But the Lord reminded Gary that he had an eagle on his necklace. The eagle was sign to Galilee because the Lord had told her that the eagle would fly her out of South Africa. Gary followed the Lord's direction and proposed to Galilee right then, standing in the rain. They went back to Galilee's house and she started getting breakfast ready.
Her dad, John, came into the room and started reading the paper. He remarked that he could hear them all night laughing and talking in the sitting room--but they were out walking the road and sharing their lives with each other! Galilee then told her dad that they needed to talk to him. She started telling her dad everything that had happened, and he looked at her, then looked at me, with no smile or no emotion. Galilee spoke for about 30 minutes. John then asked Gary what did Galilee just say, because she had spoken to her dad in Afrikaans. Gary did not speak the language but he proceeded to tell John what had occurred during the night. John was amazed because it was the exact same thing Galilee had just said!

John then called Galilee's step-mom, who was in back home in America. She picked up the phone and said, "I know why you are calling. They are getting married". John was shocked and asked how did she know!? She told him the Lord had given her a vision before John and Gary had even left America, showing her the wedding between Gary and Galilee. She told John that she said nothing about it because if it was from the Lord, then the Lord would make it happen. She knew that if it occurred, it would be sign that the vision was from the Lord.
After this breakfast and phone call, they went to apply for a visa for Galilee and her kids to go to America. Gary left on Saturday to prepare and the following Monday, Galilee's passport and visas were approved! It was so fast, they knew it was another confirmation from the Lord that their wedding was in His hands. A further sign was she also received first class tickets from a stranger to the United States and the departure date was on her birthday!
Galilee and the kids landed at Atlanta Airport and Gary drove them all to Memphis. Almost as soon as they got into Memphis, they got married at close friend's backyard alongside a pool. Galilee's dad performed the wedding ceremony. They have been married every since and the Lord has continued to give them visions, signs, and work wonders through their ministry.
Miracle from the Lord!
